Frances Martha Slettedahl
Slettedahl Frances Martha Slettedahl was received by her Heavenly Father on April 1, 2003 in Hopkins, MN at the age of 94. She was born January 7, 1909 in Montevideo, MN. In 1926 she married Cornelius B. Olson. Two children were born of this union, Beverlee and Patricia. Mr. Olson died in June, 1949. Frances was employed as Manager of the S&H Green Stamp store in Montevideo. Frances married Palmer Slettedahl in Wood Lake in 1964 and moved to Palmer's farm in Wood Lake. Mr. Slettedahl passed away on Dec. 24, 1995. Frances then moved back to Montevideo, where she resided at Brookside Manor from august 1996 until her death. She was an active member of the Methodist Church and the Homemaker's Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis & Lydia Thompson; her husband; and two older sisters, Lucille Graves and Nona Thompson. She leaves her two daughters, Beverlee Wood of Brooklyn Park, MN, and Patricia Booth of Belmont, NC; 7 grandchildren, Jennifer Leslie (Dennis), Susan Wood (Joyce), George Wood (Cindy), Bill Wood, Christine Woods (Michael), Julia Gunter (Dale) and Clifford Booth III (Kimberlee); 8 great-grandchildren, Christopher and Elizabeth Leslie, Sam, Joe and Ellie Wood, Abbey Kowalewski, Courtney and Connor Booth; and a niece, Virginia Denn (Duane), who has 3 children. Frances will be interned in Echo, MN, next to her husband, Palmer. Memorial Service Monday, 11 AM at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel 1827 Coon Rapids Blvd 763-767-1000
