Bayliss Jeannetta M. Bayliss. On April 1st a great journey that Jeannetta pursued for 102 years with her heavenly Father came to an end. As she entered her heavenly home, she left behind family, friends, and countless strangers who were touched immeasurably by her grace, generosity, and style. She was a good person. Jeannetta had two careers, one with the telephone company as a supervisor and a second, a labor of love, as a nursing home volunteer. For many years she served as the Telephone Chair for the Mpls Christian Woman's Club and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. Jeannetta's life was dedicated to making others as happy as possible. She was a dedicated prayer warrior, and her faith lifted all those who knew her. She will leave a void on Earth that is not likely to be filled. Jeannetta is survived by nieces, Marie Ziebarth, Marilynn (Gar) Steiner, Susan Mattson, and nephew, David (Connye) LaCombe, 12 great-nephews and nieces, and 16 great-great-nephews and nieces. A celebration of her lifelong gifts to others and her great faith will be held at 1PM on Saturday, April 5, 2003 with visitation 1 hour prior at the Bryn Mawr Church, 420 S Cedar Lake Rd in Mpls, with burial at Lakewood Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the Billy Graham Association. There should be no sorrow, only great rejoicing as we reflect on a truly wonderful life well-lived. Washburn-McReavy Davies Chapel 612-377-2203
