Lydia Holm

Holm Lydia, age 97, of Grandview Christian Home, Cambridge died March 27, 2003. She was born Dec. 1, 1905 in Howard, SD to J.J. and Charlotte Holm. Lydia earned a B.A. degree from Sioux Falls College, an M.A. and Ph.D. from the State University of Iowa. During her teaching career she was on the faculty of Denison University, Eastern Washington College, and Illinois Wesleyan University. She also served three years on the Administration of Col. Bautista, Managua, Nicaragua. After retirement she lived with her sister, Edith, in Columbia Heights. Edith died May 19, 1992, and 15 months later Lydia moved to Grandview Christian Home in Cambridge. A memorial service will be held at the Sunset Memorial Chapel, St. Anthony, at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 29. Memorial gifts should be designated to Bethel College. Strike FH-Cambridge 763-689-2070
