Gaukel Elizabeth A. "Beth"Gaukel, age 31, of Manhattan, formerly of Bloomington, died unexpectedly after a brief illness. Beth was a graduate of the University of Minnesota and an employee of American Express Financial Planning in Manhattan. Preceded in death by grandparents, Leo & Frances Gaukel, and Olga & Martin Ankerstjerne. Survived by parents, Tom & Jan Gaukel; brothers, Kevin and Chris Gaukel; sisters, Heidi (Cully) Orstad, Traci Gaukel, and Amy (Kurt) Jensen; nieces, Emily and Gracie; nephew, Paul; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 11 AM at the Church of St. Bonaventure, 901 E. 90th St., Bloomington. Visitation Tuesday (TODAY) 6-8 PM at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel, 9947 Lyndale Ave S, and 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Interment Lakewood Cemetery. Memorials preferred to MN Humane Society.
