Holmquist Myrtice Matchitt Holmquist of Minneapolis, our beloved "Bunny" died at the age of 100 on July 2, 2004 in her home of 63 years, surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by husband, Harold. Survived by daughter & son-in- law, Carol & Lloyd Peitzman; grandchildren, Dr. Linda Peitzman (Kelley Brigman), Robert Peitzman (Carol), James Peitzman (Kym), John Peitzman (Jody); 6 great-grandchildren (Emily, Cassie, Elizabeth, Alec, Elysia and Marissa); and many fond nephews, nieces and cousins. Graduate of Carleton College, teacher for over 30 years. Member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority, Eastern Star, Daughters of the American Revolution, Westminster Presbyterian Church for nearly 70 years. Myrtice is remembered for her boundless energy, selfless giving and loving spirit. She will remain in the hearts of family and friends forever. Private interment Lakewood Cemetery. Memorial service on Saturday, July 10, 2004 at 2 pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 12th Street & Nicollet, Minneapolis. Memorials preferred to Westminster Presbyterian Church, Grace Manor and Mount Olivet Day Care Center.
