Shirley Hannah Fairchild

Fairchild Shirley "Ley" Hannah, age 61, born on January 10, 1942, died March 19, 2003. Preceded in death by parents, Hu & Hannah; sister, Marcy; brother, Huey; and son, Peter. Survived by sister, Jeanette, Marje, Susy, Mary; brother, Lou; brother-in-law, Don; special friend, Frank Hentges; also many nieces and nephews. Ley graduated from high school in Cedar Rapids, IA and attended Concordia College, Forest Lake, IL. She lived abroad for many years in Portugal, Holland, and Costa Del Sol, Spain. Ley had a great love for the Lord, arranging flowers, playing any kind of game, pull tabs, and clothes. She was always the best dressed person at any affair. Ley worked at Hubbard Broadcasting Company the past 6 years. Ley's family would like to thank all the nurses and volunteers at N.C. Little Hospice and at Methodist Hospital. Services will be Tuesday, March 25th, at 10 AM, at Crossview Lutheran Church, 6645 McCauley Trl. S., Edina (952-941-1094). Family memorial service and interment to be announced. Memorials preferred to NC Little Hospice in Edina.
