Neubauer (nee Streefland) Deborah Ann Neubauer, age 39, of Burnsville, MN, formerly of Prior Lake, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 16, 2003. Beloved daughter, sister, and mother. Deborah was born on January 24, 1964 in Minneapolis, MN. Preceded in death by grandparents, Russell & Mary Streefland, and John & Helen Penzenik. Survived by precious and beloved daughter, Paige; Paige's father, Mark Neubauer; parents, Russell & Jeannette Streefland; sisters, Catherine (Rudy) Mohammed, Elizabeth (Cem Erdem) Streefland, Jennifer (Adam) Henry; brothers, Michael Streefland and Christopher Streefland; nephews and nieces, Matthew, Jacob, Morgan, Kadria, Noah, Emma; and special niece/goddaughter, Isabelle. Deborah graduated from the Academy of the Holy Angels in 1982. She then earned a B.A. summa cum laude from the College of St. Catherine in 1986, where she was inducted as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She received her M.A. in History from the University of Minnesota in 1991. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am on Thursday, March 20, 2003 at The Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist, 4625 W. 125th Street, Savage, MN, followed by burial at the St. John's Cemetery. Visitation one hour before funeral services and on Wednesday, March 19, 2003 from 5-8 pm in the church atrium. God saw that she was getting tired. So He put His arms around her and whispered "Come with Me." Although we loved her dearly, we couldn't make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating. Hard-working hands finally at rest.
