Preceded in death by parents, Evelyn & Wilson Egbert; sister, Rachel Saylor; nephew, Douglas Saylor; niece, Emily Hart Egbert; and Molly, "the big red dog." Survived by wife, Joanne Hostert; children, Karl and Andy; sisters, Helen( Norman ) Heitz, Miriam (Rex Hilsman) Egbert; brother, Bill (Linda Hart) Egbert; cousin, Toni Yeamans; nieces, Debbie Whitaker, Lizzy Egbert; nephews, Jason and Dan Egbert; Joanne's parents, Claud & Rosalie Hostert; Joanne's siblings, Charlotte (Jim) Carey, Barbara (Jeff) Adrian, Steve (Jeanne) Hostert, Mark (Suzie) Hostert; friends, Gracia Ferguson (Karl's mom), Marilyn Alyssum, Susan Cernjar, Sue May, Bep & Sip Molewyk (the Crazy Dutchmen), Stephen Plaster, and Betty Sorensen. Jon will be missed by the lives he touched in the Lynnhurst Church Family, the Tai' Chi community, and loyal customers of Bryant Ave Shoe Service. Memorial service Friday, 4 PM, 3/21/03, at the Lynnhurst Congregational United Church of Christ, 4501 Colfax Ave S. Visitation Thursday, 3/20/03, 4-8 PM, Werness Brothers, 3500 W. 50th St, Mpls.
