Poff Leona Estelle. Born Jan. 27, 1911, died Mar. 8, 2003. Long-time employee of the Standard Oil Company. The most important gifts we share are always the simplest. Leona taught us to appreciate life through her humble spirit, her wry smile, and her unfaltering generosity. The quiet wisdom she embodied was a constant reminder to pause and be thankful for all that we have. Everyone who was at Leona's house knew her ritual of standing in the doorway as you left, waving good-bye. She always made sure the car started on those cold nights, and that you were safely on your way. We now wave good-bye to Leona, standing in that doorway as time takes us forward carrying her spirit, her love, and memory with us always. Leona is survived by many nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends. Washburn-McReavy Davies Chapel 612-377-2203
