Gilbert G. Nevius

Nevius Gilbert G. Nevius, age 87, of Bloomington. long time employee of 3M and loved to volunteer with many community organizations, including Richfield Optimist Club, (Past President), Community Resource Pool, Richfield Historical Society, Richfield Schools PTA and the Richfield Library. He served as an usher at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church for many years. Preceded in death by wife, Henrietta. Survived by daughters, Patricia Vaurio (Edward), Noel Rea (Michael) and Laura Nevius (Craig Olson); grandchildren, Christopher, Rebecca, Matthew, Kristen, Linnea, Elizabeth, Andrew and Krista. Memorial service Thursday, 10 am at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, 5025 Knox Avenue S. Private interment. Visitation Wednesday, 5-7 pm at Morris Nilsen Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave. S.
