Woolley Eugene E., 83, of Naples, FL, passed away March 7, 2003. He began part time residency in Naples in the early 1970's and moved to Naples from Minneapolis full time in 1982. He was born in Osborne, KS, one of four brothers and a sister, to Samuel & Frances Woolley. He graduated from Kansas State in 1941 with degrees in milling and chemical engineering, and attended Harvard Business School. He served in both the US Army and Navy during WWII. He spent his career as an executive with General Mills; he was sometime Commodore of the Minneapolis Aquatennial; was a devout Christian who was an active lay leader and generous benefactor of churches and seminaries with which his family has been involved. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Frankie; a son, Rev. Steven Woolley of Walla Walla, WA; 2 daughters, Linda Tam of Honolulu, and Carol Olsen of Plymouth, MN; daughter-in-law, Dianna Woolley & sons-in-law Jim Tam and Roger Olsen; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, Mar. 11, 2003 at 11 AM at the Naples United Church of Christ, Seagate Rd, Naples, FL.
