Marsh Garylee J., 48 years, passed on Tuesday, March 4th of a massive heart attack at home. He was born October 27, 1954 in Virginia, MN to Leonard and Nancy (Tomasich) Marsh and was a graduate of Roosevelt High School in Virginia. He has lived in Minneapolis the past 30 years and was self-employed in the dairy home-delivery business. He touched many lives while working the milk route and was well known for his big laugh, even bigger heart and generous spirit. He helped anyone in need and did it in a selfless and loving way, never expecting anything in return. He was a gentle soul who was well loved and will be greatly missed. He is survived by mother, Nancy Marsh of Virginia, MN; brothers, Michael (Sandra) Marsh of Grand Rapids, Randy (Dawn) Marsh of St. Michael; sister, Karen Marsh of Phoenix, AZ; niece and nephews, Jason (Katie) Marsh, Jeremy Marsh, Andrew and Dylan Marsh, Jennifer and Dustin Thayer; and grand nephew, Dallas. He was preceded in death by father, Leonard Marsh; grandparents, Andrew and Beesie Tomasich; grandparents, Anthony and Frances Marsh; uncle, Andrew Tomasich Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, March 7, 2003 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Virginia, MN. A memorial service and open house will be held for friends and family in Minneapolis on Saturday, March 15, at 2:00 PM at Hillside Memorium Funeral Home, 2600 19th Ave NE, Northeast Minneapolis, MN.
