Spartz Larry A. Spartz, age 63, of Alexandria, died March 4, 2003. Survived by devoted wife, Sheila, of 43 years. High School sweethearts, they raised three wonderful children and made family a priority. Daughter, Jodi (Daniel) Souba; sons, Steven (Kerri) Spartz and Jeffrey (Becky) Spartz; grandchildren, Jonathan, Kelli, Kristi, Jacquelyn, Nicholas and Andrew; sisters, Sharon Dymoke, Carol Durushia, Kay Clyde, Roxanne Cronberg; and brother, Carlyle Cronberg (deceased); sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Connie and Roger Boyer; nieces and nephews; and many, many friends. He was a 37-year employee of Sears Roebuck Catalog Operations, retiring in 1993 as General Manager. He enjoyed retirement, traveling, hobby farming, golfing, woodworking and wintering in Destin, FL. Mostly, he loved spending time with family and friends. He was loved by so many. Memorials preferred to Calvary Lutheran Church, 605 Douglas Street, Alexandria, MN 56308 or the American Cancer Society. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 8, 2003 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Alexandria, MN. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. A visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Friday at the Anderson Funeral Home, Alexandria (320) 763-5900 and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
