Richard R. Nozal

Nozal Richard R., 65 of McGregor, IA died Friday, February 21, 2003 at Rochester, MN following a short illness. Funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday, March 8, 2003 at Thornburg-Hanson Funeral Home with burial in Moody Cemetery, both in McGregor, IA. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 11 am on Saturday. He is survived by his wife, Laura; one son, David (Gail) Nozal of Rosemount, MN; one daughter, Kristina Nozal of Eagan, MN; one granddaughter, Katherine Margaret; and one sister, Marcia (Rick) Baker of Freeport, Maine. Richard was born May 23, 1937 in Rice Lake,WI to Andrew and Helen (Folczyk) Nozal. He grew up and attended high school at Cornucopia, WI. He attended a computer science school in Milwaukee, WI. Richard served in the Army from 1960 until 1963. He worked as a computer programmer in Lakeville, MN for 27 years and later worked for Parker Hannifan Co. until the age of 65. He was a member of the Burnsville American Legion. They moved to McGregor in December of 2002. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given.
