Connie Joanne O'Brien

O'Brien (Basill) Connie Joanne O'Brien, age 39, passed away unexpectedly on February 27. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt. She graced the lives of all she knew with her enthusiasm and zest for life. Preceded in death by father, William Basill. Survived by her loving husband, John; children, Kelly (age 7) and Christine (age 4); mother, Joanne Basill; brother, John (Sue) Basill; sister, Helen (Jon) Bair; and six nieces and nephews; also survived by mother-in-law, Nancy O'Brien Ellis (James); brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Gene (Susan) O'Brien, Matt (Bridget) O'Brien, Elizabeth O'Brien and Bill O'Brien and their families. Visitation 5-8 pm, Sunday, with prayer service 7 pm at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, West 50th St and Vernon Ave at Hwy 100, Edina. Funeral service 11 am, Monday, St Mary's Greek Orthodox Church, 35th and Irving Ave S, Mpls. Interment Grandview Park Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the family.
