Wallace R. Johnson

Johnson Wallace R. Johnson, age 93 of St. Paul, died Feb. 25, 2003. Preceded in death by his 1st wife, Alice; and 2nd wife, Violet; brother, Gordon. Survived by son, Dwight (Carol); and daughter, Cheryl (Gary) Schafer; grandson, Craig (Brittany) Johnson; great-grandchildren, Eric, Ryan, and Shea; nieces and nephews. Wallace owned and operated Johnson Fairway on Rice St. For 42 years and was an active member of Central Baptist Church since 1931. He loved people and was admired by so many for his sense of humor and genuine interest in others. Visitation 4-8 PM Friday at HOLCOMB-HENRY-BOOM FUNERAL HOME, 536 N. Snelling Ave., St. Paul, and also at church from 9:30 AM Saturday until time of service. Funeral Saturday, 10:30 AM at CENTRAL BAPTIST CHURCH, Roy and Shields, St. Paul. Interment Roselawn Cemetery.
