Yngve Deborah (nee Ronning), age 76, of Plymouth. Born 7-24-1925 to Jacob and Clara Mae Ronning. Died 2-16-2002 of Leukemia. Many thanks for the loving care given by the people at Humphrey Cancer Center, North Memorial (4 west), North Ridge Care Center (2 west and north), and North Hospice; you helped her gather the courage to wage the battle. Graduate of West High 1943 and Carlton College 1947. Preceded in death by parents, and son, John Per. Survived by sons, Rolf (Sharon), Aron (Karen), Hans (Rachel), and Hal (Crystal); brothers, Jack and Jim; sister, Judy, many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was a longtime resident of Plymouth where she raised her family with former husband, John. This is where they based their volunteer work, political activities, and many social gatherings during the 50's, 60's and 70's. Craig Shaver recently said ``she was one of the greatest moms around.'' We'll always remember the fun times at the great house on County Road 6. More recently, she enjoyed working with her wonderful friends at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and the Plymouth Senior Center. She is a noble spirit who always had a good eye for the practical and beautiful nature of all which surrounds us. Funeral 1:30 Wednesday at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7520 Golden Valley Road. Visitation Tuesday 5-8 PM at Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel of Plymouth, 37th and Vicksburg Lane and 1/2 hour prior to the Service at church. Memorials preferred to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.
