Gerald E. Springer

Springer Gerald E. ``Jerry'', age 78, of Big Lake, died peacefully on 2/12/02. Retired elementary principal with Robbinsdale Area Schools. Received the Minnesota Outstanding Senior Citizen of the Year in 1997. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Jeanne; 3 daughters, Linda (Michael) Kewin of Highland, CA, Christelle (Richard) Langer of Mpls, and Ann Knudsen of Stillwater; son, Steven of St. Michael; and 8 grandchildren. Funeral Thurs., 7 PM at Saron Lutheran Church of Big Lake. Visitation at the church from 6 to 7 PM on Thurs. only. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Peterson-Grimsmo 763-295-2918
