Iona E. LaMere

LaMere Iona E., age 80, of Stillwater, formerly of White Bear Township, died February 10, 2002. Born in Deronda, WI to Peter and Hilda Wilson. Preceded in death by husband, Howard; son, Steven; and several brothers & sisters. Survived by daughter, Karen (Roger) Bosmoe of Stillwater; 2 sons, Michael of Verona, WI and Bob of St. Paul; 8 grandchildren, Cheryl, David and Debbie Bosmoe, Jennifer (Tim) Trombley, Kim (Terry) LaMere, Neil (Connie) LaMere, Joseph and Nicolle LaMere; 6 great-grandchildren, Michael, Jessica, Kyle, Crystina, Ashley and Paige; daughter-in-law, Donna LaMere; sister, Gladys Waters of Bloomington, MN; also survived by numerous relatives and friends. Iona was a loving grandmother and mother especially to her handicapped son. She was a charter member of Lutheran Church of Peace in Maplewood. Iona was a wonderful homemaker and cook, she loved to be around her dear family and friends. She will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred. Service Friday, February 15, 11 AM at BRADSHAW, 6061 Osgood Ave N. @ Hwy. 36, Stillwater. Visitation one hour prior to service at funeral home. Interment Volga Cemetery, Amery, WI.
