Mabel G. Walz

Walz Mabel G., age 89, of Mpls., formerly of Waterville, died suddenly on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2002 at her residence. She is survived by her husband, Michael, formerly of Waterville; 3 daughters, Mary Ann (Larry) Callan of Peoria, IL, Donna (Robert) Gorzycki of Mpls. & Clara (Cark) Windhurst of Coon Rapids; 1 son, William (Kathy) Walz of Waterville; 11 grandchildren, Dawn (Harold) Butler, Todd Callan, Paul (Kathy) Gorzycki, Mark (Teri) Gorzycki, Patricia (Brian) Torell, Greg Windhurst, Pam (Fred) Wetterhahn, Steve Windhurst & fiancee Tia Simonson, Mike (Laura) Windhurst, Lori Walz & special friend Brian Rothmeyer, and Chris Walz & fiancee Jenny Fury; 2 step-granddaughters; and 9 great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Jonathan, Christine, Crystal, Megan, Morgan, Michael, Ashley & Melody. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and 7 brothers & sisters. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2002 at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Waterville. Visitation preceding service at 9 AM at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Heart Assoc, American Diabetes Assoc, Alzheimer's Assoc or donor's choice.
