Mass of Christian Burial 2 PM Wednesday at THE CATHEDRAL OF ST. PAUL, Summit at Selby. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Visitation 4-8 PM Tuesday at WILLWERSCHEID & PETERS MORTUARY, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul, and at church 1 hour before the Mass. Etta led a very active life as a Montessori Aide and Tot Lot Teacher at the Cathedral Grade School; member of the Cathedral Choir, involved in community service through Summit-University Neighborhood Assoc., member of the scholarship committee for inner-city youth at St. Thomas University, played basketball for Cherry High School in Cherry, MN, and was a life-long supporter of the University of MN Golden Gopher basketball and football programs. Etta was a devoted Catholic. She touched so many souls as mother, friend, and mentor. Her family reflected America; it was a melting pot of race, color, or creed. Memorials preferred to the Olson Family Trust.
