Dr. Robert O. Bixby

Bixby Dr. Robert O., age 55, St. Cloud, MN, died Tuesday, February 18, 2003 at the St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud, MN. Robert Bixby was born May 9, 1947 in St. Paul, MN to Orvis and Lillian (White) Bixby. He married Terri L. Beer on June 8, 1968 in St. Paul, MN. Robert was a geography professor and director of the Spatial Analysis Research Center at St. Cloud State University. Robert is survived by his wife, Terri Bixby of St. Cloud, MN; son, Robert N. Bixby of St. Cloud; daughter, Kelly Bixby (John Schimelpfenig) of St. Bonifacius, MN; mother, Lillian Bixby of St. Cloud, MN; brother, Scott (Kathy) Bixby of Maplewood, MN, and sister, Marney (Butch) Mostad of Blaine, MN. Funeral service Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003, 10 AM at First United Methodist Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation Friday, Feb. 21, 4-7 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN, and one hour prior to the service at church on Saturday. Prayer service by VFW Post #4847 at 7 PM at the funeral home. Burial with full military honors in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud.
