Powrie Malcolm G., born Feb. 11, 1915 in St. Paul, MN, passed away on Jan. 22, 2003 at his home in Carlsbad, CA. A proud graduate of Macalester College in St. Paul and the University of MN Law School. Mal practiced law briefly before serving as an agent with the FBI and then embarking upon his distinguished career as an entrepreneur in southern California. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Rosemary; his sister, Iantha LeVander of South St. Paul; daughter, Barbara Omdahl; of Golden, CO; sons, Mac of Monarch Beach, CA, Doug of Hood River, OR; as well as 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Mal was admired by his many friends and extended family members who will miss him greatly.
