Jeffrey Scott Ames

Ames Jeffrey Scott age 62, died peacefully on Feb. 17th after his battle with lung cancer. Survived by children, Christopher (Bethany), Stephen (Kathleen), Elizabeth and Michael; grandchildren William, Melissa, Megan and Harriet "Hattie". Also by former wife and friend, Jean; and sister, Harriet (Tom) Haggenmiller. Also survived by Gloria Ames, Doug and Pat Ames and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Harriet and Russell Ames. Jeff, (or Scott, as he was also called by many) will be missed by an extended family of friends and loved ones. The longtime proprietor of Aaron's Sports Cards, will be missed by faithful sports card collectors everywhere. Special thanks to Cindy Persson, the staff at Our Lady of Good Council, and Dr. Delasandro and Dr. Hurley of Regions Hospital. Memorial Mass will be Thurs, Feb. 20, 2003 at 7 PM at NATIVITY OF OUR LORD CATHOLIC CHURCH in St.Paul. Memorials preferred to Our Lady of Good Council, 2076 St. Anthony Ave., St. Paul, MN 55105
