Anderson Michael John, May 16, 1954 to Feb. 7, 2003. Long time resident of Minneapolis, passed away in Anoka of ALS. Survived by partner, Ginny Jacobson of Anoka; former wife, Stephanie Peterson of NE Mpls.; also father, John; stepmother, Joyce; mother, Vonnie. He leaves 2 brothers, Mark (Lynette) & David (Nancy); nieces & nephews, Benjamin, Ellen, Ruth, Amy, Joann, Dana, Sam & Christopher. He had life-long interests in music, photography and language. Most recently he wrote for the Northeaster Newspaper. He believed passionately that open and accurate communication would help further the cause of social justice in Minneapolis. He will be remembered in a Memorial Service on Feb. 15, at 11 AM at First Congregational Church of Anoka, 1923 3rd Ave., Anoka, MN. Memorials preferred to the ALS Association of Minnesota.
