Ruth I. Robey Hawkins

Hawkins Ruth I. Robey Hawkins, 91, of Kettering, Ohio went home to be with the Lord Jesus Tuesday, February 11, 2003 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born July 8, 1911 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Ernest and Dora Biggin. She is survived by her husband Clifton Collin Hawkins whom she married June 20, 1999. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold J. Robey in 1991, whom she married September 2, 1933. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorathy Biggin and a brother, Stanley Biggin. A brother, Donald Biggin from Minneapolis, Minnesota survives. She also is survived by her children and their spouses, Stephen and Lori Robey of Watertown, Connecticut; Paul and Sharon Robey of Maple Grove, Minnesota; Daniel and Dorathy Larson of Fridley, Minnesota; David and Beverly Robey of Cedarville, Ohio; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She had a smile and a laugh that brightened any room. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all. She was a member of the Washington Heights Baptist Church in Dayton, OH. A funeral was held on February 15th in Dayton, Ohio. Memorial service here will be held Wednesday, February 19th, 1:00 pm, at Fourth Baptist Church - 900 Forestview Lane North, Plymouth, Minnesota. 763-417-8200. Interment at Lake Sybil Cemetery, Vergas, Minnesota on Tuesday, February 18th, 2003. If desired, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio.
