Peterson Ebba Kristiane Sandahl, 70, of Eden Prairie, formerly of Askov, MN passed away on Sat., Feb. 8, 2003 at N.C. Little Memorial Hospice Home in Edina, MN. Services will be Thurs., Feb. 13, 2003 at 10:00 AM at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, Mpls. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at 2:00 PM the same day at Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery in Askov, MN. Ebba Kristiane Sandahl Peterson was born on May 9, 1932 in Askov, MN to Christian and Valborg (Larsen) Sandahl. Ebba grew up around the Askov area and graduated from Askov High School in 1950. Following graduation Ebba worked at Lutheran Brotherhood in Minneapolis. She married Roland "Vic" Peterson on November 24, 1956 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Askov. Together they made their home in various places including Richfield, MN, Bloomington, MN, Schenectady, NY, Madison, WI and Edina, MN. Ebba enjoyed being an active volunteer in the hospice program and other various programs at the Methodist Hospital in Minneapolis. She also enjoyed playing cards, knitting and being with her grandchildren. Ebba Kristiane Sandahl Peterson was preceded in death by her parents, Christian and Valborg Sandahl; her husband, Roland "Vic" Peterson; and two sisters, Clara and Elsie. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann and husband Clair Anderson of Bellingham, MN and Linnea Peterson and husband Kip Vieth of Edina, MN; two brothers, Robert and wife Janice Sandahl of Hector, MN and Carl and wife LuVerne Sandahl of Duluth, MN; one sister, Esther and husband Ron North of Duluth, MN; three grandchildren, Russell Anderson, Grace Vieth and Truman Vieth; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorials preferred to Mt. Olivet Lutheran "Faith Alive" Radio Ministry, Methodist Hospice Program and N.C. Little Memorial Hospice Home. Arrangements by Hansen-Mankie Funeral Home of Sandstone, MN.
