Raymond A. Zastrow

Zastrow Raymond A. Zastrow, age 85, of Brooklyn Park, formerly of Bock, MN, died in his house as he wished. Preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Ruth; mother and father, Albert and Jenni. Survived by son, Brent (Joelien); grandchildren, Timothy and Jennifer; 2 great-grandchildren; also survived by sisters, Bernice Johnson (Glenn) and Pearle Branch. Retired from Ford after 20 years. Member of local UAW #879 and a World War II 101st Airborne Veteran. His kindness and generosity touched everyone who knew him. He loved getting up at 5am on Sundays and going fishing with his son. Service Thursday, 11AM at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Center. Visitation Wed., 5:00-8:00 PM, and also 1 hour prior to the service. A special thank you to Hospice of the Lakes staff and all of his special care givers. Interment Thursday, 2PM at Borgholm Cemetery, Bock, MN. Evans-Nordby 763-533-3000
