Warner Angela "Angie" Brooke Warner. Daddy Don gave his Little Princess and "Mama Bear" Linda gave her Baby Bear and Best Friend Angie back to God and her home in Heaven on February 6, 2003, at the age of 21. Angie was born on March 11, 1981 to Donald and Linda Warner of Eden Prairie, MN. Her passing came after a lifelong, courageous battle with cystic fibrosis. For the first time, she will be free from this horrible disease she lived with for almost 22 years. She worked so hard every day to stay well despite her challenge. God knew she was too tired and her body was too worn out to fight anymore, so He wrapped his loving arms around her and lifted her up on Eagles' wings for her journey back home to Heaven. So many prayed and hoped and waited for a miracle to heal Angie. Father Steve suggested to us that perhaps we already had our miracle - the gift of Angela and our wonderful chance to have her and care for her for Him for almost 22 years. We thank Father Steve for his wisdom. Angela was and will always be our miracle - she's our heart and the sunshine of our lives. Angie and her Mama Bear and Daddy will be together now, always and forever. Thank you sweet Jesus for giving Angela to us to love and care for - she was our "Angel" on earth and now she's our "Angel" in Heaven. We love you, our sweet, precious "baby girl." Angela is survived by her caring and devoted "Mama Bear" and Daddy; her sweet puppy, Torrance; grandparents, Odo and Bernelda Kuhl of Cold Spring, MN; aunts and uncles, John and Judi Mertens, Mari Kuhl, Michael Kuhl, Ronald and Shannon Kuhl, Bill and Joan Sanford, Dennis and Cheryl Rosen; cousins, Tracy, Terry, Brian, Susan, Melissa, Rachel, Eric and Amanda; special friends, Josh Rasmusson, J.D. Eisenberg, Richard and Jeanne Johnson and Grant and Kathi Lindaman; many more relatives and friends. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses of Station 4D at Fairview University Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Henry C. "Pop" and Elenora C. (Bergmann) Warner and her uncle, Gary A. Rosen. Angie was a 1999 Honors graduate of Eden Prairie High School and a varsity cheerleader. She attended Normandale Community College for two years and also attended Mesa College in San Diego, CA. Angela enjoyed music, her special friends, her Maltese puppy "Torrance", the beaches of southern California, dining out, shopping with her "Mama Bear" and living life. She was a beautiful, intelligent and generous young lady who was loved and adored here on earth and now will be loved and cared for by God in Heaven. Funeral Services will be held at Pax Christi Catholic Church on Monday, February 10, 2003 at 1:00 pm. Visitation at church from 11:00 am to 1 pm. Interment in Gethsemane Cemetery, New Hope. After the interment, a reception and celebration of Angie's life will be held at the Woman's Club of Minneapolis, 410 Oak Grove, Minneapolis, MN for family and friends.
