Olson Clyde L. Olson, age 80, of Minnetonka, born in Hillsboro, North Dakota, went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on February 7, 2003. He was loved and admired by so many for his sense of humor and genuine interest in others. Although he suffered with rheumatoid arthritis for over 30 years, he kept a positive attitude and thankful heart throughout his struggle. An honored World War II veteran and a devoted husband & father, Clyde worked for Minnegasco for 33 years before retirement in 1982. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and playing cribbage. He is survived by his loving wife, Louise; children, Craig (Shan), Mary Holmes (Gary), Brand (Jessy), Pamela Fleagle (John), Jennifer Berrada (Karim); beloved grandchildren, Heather, Curtis, Brady, Jamie, Joe, Max, Jake, Luke, Grant, Yasmina, Kip and Sonia; also survived by brother, Wayne, and sister, Darlene Hauge. Memorial Service will be held at Minnetonka Community Church, 13215 Minnetonka Drive, on Tuesday, Feb. 11, at 11 AM. "We are confident, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord."
