Austin L. Churchill Austin, loving husband, father and grandfather, age 87, of Bloomington, died peacefully February 6, 2003 with his family by his side. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jean; 2 daughters, Judy (Buck) Brothers and Jeanette (Michael) Tsakistos; grandchildren, Jennifer (Tom) Pelinka, Laura & Susannah King, Daniel (Kristin) King, Andreas, Stephanos & Markos Tsakistos, Steve Brothers, Gary (Katie) Brothers; and 1 great-grandson, Alex Pelinka. Churchill and Jean, residents of Friendship Village, Bloomington, and long-time members of Colonial Church of Edina. Churchill grew up in Oak Park, Illinois, graduated from Ohio Wesleyn in Delaware, Ohio, Garrett Seminary in Evanston, Illinois and Advanced Management Program at Harvard University. He had a distinguished career as a Navy chaplain, a Congregational minister, and in international business with Norris Dispensers and McQuay-Perfex, Inc. Churchill was a former President of the Minneapolis Rotary Club, a 32nd Degree Mason, and member of the Shrine. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Colonial Church of Edina. Private interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery. A memorial service will be held TUESDAY, Feb. 11 at 3 PM at Colonial Church of Edina, 6200 Colonial Way, Edina, with visitation on MONDAY, Feb. 10 from 6-8 PM at: WERNESS BROTHERS 3500 W. 50th St, Mpls 612-927-8641
