Gerald E. Kust

Kust Gerald E. "Jerry" Kust, age 73, of Mound, died unexpectedly in his home on Tuesday, February 4, 2003. He was born on June 11, 1929 to Joseph and Elizabeth (Muzik) Kust in Forada Township. Jerry was a life member of VFW Post 5113 and a member of the American Legion Post 398. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joan; children, Mike (Kathy), Brenda (Tom) Berent, Pam (Tim) Olson; grandchildren, Scott (Camille) Walz, Tina (George) LaMora, Christopher, Daniel (Kerry), Brian, and Rebecca Berent, Jeffrey, Alex, Jordan Olson; great-grandchildren, Dominic LaMora, and William Walz; brothers, Jim (Carole), Joe, and Jack; sisters, Betty Jo (Kenny) Keesling, Pat (Paul) Solstad, Peggy Daluge, Carolynne Kust, and Kathy (Cliff) Wheeler; many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bob Kust; sister-in-law, Jean Kust; and nephew, Nathan Green. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 7, 2003 at 11 AM in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 2385 Commerce Blvd., Mound, with Fr. Stan Mader officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, TODAY, from 5-8 PM, with a prayer service at 7:30 PM at Huber Funeral Home, 1801 Commerce Blvd., Mound, and again from 10-11 AM on Friday at the church.
