Rose and Bob were employed by Swift & Company in SSP, and the family became members of St. Augustine's Catholic Church. In 1956, they had a 4th daughter, Roberta. In 1995, she suffered a stroke and moved to Grandview Christian Home in Cambridge, MN. She was respected, loved and will be remembered by those she shared her years with as a kind, sincere, caring woman. Rose's family loved her and will remember her for being the mother and grandmother who loved to bake pies and cookies, canned fruits and vegetables, and have the family over for supper. She gave so much, asked so little, and was always there for us with her presence and her prayers. She touched our lives with her spirituality, love and commitment to family. She was a gentle woman, beautiful mother, and will live on in our memories, hearts, and through us. Visitation 5-8 PM Wednesday at the SOUTHERN FUNERAL HOME, 414 Marie Ave., SSP, with Rosary at 6 PM.
