Thelen Dory Thelen was born on July 1, 1951 in Eldora, Iowa to Marion and Maxine Munsinger. She became a child of God and an heir of eternal life in her baptism on April 19, 1962, and gave public witness to her faith on April 11, 1965. She was united in marriage with Douglas Thelen on October 16, 1971. Dory and Doug resided in Mound, Minnesota with their three children and recently moved to Bigfork, Minnesota. Dory passed away January 30, 2003. Dory is survived by her husband, Doug; daughters, Sarah and Lisa; son, Jacob; sons-in-law, Mason Lyngby and Brad Hollister; granddaughter, Emma Lyngby; parents, Marion and Maxine Munsinger; sisters, Linda Black, Carol Zimmermann, and Ann Pixler; brother, Arthur "Butch" Munsinger; sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Dory fought a courageous battle with cancer, giving it everything she had, just as she did in her daily life. She expressed her unconditional love to everyone around her: family, friends, even strangers. We will never forget her.
