Gustafson Deloris A. Gustafson, age 80, of Burnsville. Comfortably surrounded by loved ones and angels, the spirit of Deloris Aina Marie departed peacefully at home on January 30. Deloris was a beautiful woman, good friend, loving companion and the best of Mothers. Throughout a willful, 4-year battle with colon cancer, she showed us how to handle indignities with dignity, face the unknown with courage and gallantry. and be at peace . Deloris recently celebrated her 80th birthday with a huge gathering of family and friends. She loved to dance, play games, and have fun. She was fiesty, courageous and a positive role model to everyone. She valued her special friends in "Monday Night Club." She was employed by Dayton Hudson Co. for many years. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling, volunteering, crafts, and being an exceptional grandmother. Preceded in death by her husband, August Gustafson; sister, Linnea Nygard and granddaughter, Meghan Lee Cudo. Survived by children and their spouses, JoAnn Suter, Lynn (Jim) Gudding, Karen (Robbie) Spurlock, Joseph Cudo Jr., Michael Cudo, Patrick (Irina) Cudo; Guss's children, Robert F. Gustafson & Nan (Bob) Prokopuc; grandchildren, Laurie, Samantha, Lisa, Penny, Jodi, Leigh, Kimberly, Troy, Ryan, Kyle, Kathryn, Christopher, Vandy, Tony, Marty, Alina, Marc, Greg, Heather, Tianna; 22 great and 3 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, O. Lorraine Skavnak and Merelyn Griffith, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Service Monday, 7 PM at the Morris Nilsen Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave S., Richfield. Visitation Monday from 5 PM until time of service. Interment Wednesday, February 5 at 11 AM at Ft. Snelling. Procession leaving the Morris Nilsen Chapel to Ft. Snelling at 10:30 AM Wednesday.
