Irving N. Vick
Vick Irving N., 78, Mpls., formerly of Red Wing, died Wed. at Walker Methodist Health Center. He was born Nov. 2, 1924 in Mpls., to Sverre and Marie (Hansen) Vick. He was a graduate of Roosevelt High School and of the University of Minnesota with a bachelors degree in accounting. He married Marilyn Berg on Sept. 6, 1952 in Mpls. He was employed at Red Wing Potteries until its closing and then at Conveyor Specialties in St. Paul until retirement. He also did tax services for the elderly. Marilyn died Mar. 13,1991. He was a member of United Lutheran Church; he volunteered for the Sons of Norway and the American Red Cross; he enjoyed golfing and fishing. Survivors include 2 sons, Tom (Heather) Vick of Mpls. & Jim (Kari) Vick of Lutsen; 1 daughter, Teresa Vick of Mpls.; 5 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Burton (Barbara) & Arnold (Barbara) Vick, all of Mpls. Funeral will be Monday at 2 pm at United Lutheran Church, 628 W. 5th St., Red Wing. Burial Oakwood Cemetery, Red Wing, at a later date. Visitation for one hour prior to the service at the church.
