Gertrude Rose Dye
Dye Gertrude Rose, 85, of Flagstaff, Arizona, passed away Jan. 26, 2003. She was born in Winnipeg, Canada in 1916 to Richard & Anna Rentsch. At the age of three, she received United States citizenship when her family moved to Mpls. In Sept. 1940 she married Harry M. Dye; together they shared 62 wonderful years. They lived in MN until moving to Sedona in 1977 & then to Flagstaff in 1989. Gertrude was a homemaker, enjoying gardening, snow skiing, and ice skating. Gertrude is survived by husband, Harry M. Dye of Flagstaff, AZ; sons, Glen R. Dye of Salt Lake City, UT, & Gerald A. Dye of Wayzata, MN; sisters, Amy Knopf & Marjory Getsch, both of Mpls, MN. Preceded in death by parents, and brothers, Maxwell Rentsch, In WWII, & Richard Rentsch in 1998. Private services were held in AZ.
