Harry R. Smith

Smith Harry R. Smith, "The Zeeker", age 81, of Wayzata, passed away 1-20-03. Harry was a wonderful father, father-in-law and grandfather. He will be truly missed by his family members, friends and colleagues. He is survived by his two devoted sons, Brian and Kevin; his loving daughter-in-law, Pam; and three grandchildren, Peter, Patrice and Timmy. Harry was a lifelong resident of Wayzata, his family (Dickey) were some of the first settlers in the area. Harry worked for many years at the Wayzata Bank and State Bank of Long Lake where his kindness and generosity helped many people. In his later years Harry loved attending the activities of his grandchildren, watching football, reminiscing about his ancestors and spending time with his family and friends. We know that he is at peace in Heaven with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. There will be a private interment, followed by a visitation on Friday, Jan. 24 from 3 PM to 5 PM at Rettinger Funeral Home, Long Lake.
