Johnson Floyd L. Johnson, of Mpls, May 23, 1912-Jan. 5, 2003, died at the Silver Bay Veterans Home. He was born May 23, 1912 in Hetland, South Dakota. Preceded in death by his wife Berenice Walsh Johnson. He is survived by his brother David Johnson, of Huron, South Dakota, Daughter Joann Kane, sons Gregory Johnson and Dan Johnson. Also survived by grandchildren: Matthew, Joel, Sonjia, Jessica and Amanda. Floyd was a Veteran of WWII and the Battle of the Bulge, and received the Purple Heart. He was an employee of the city of Minneapolis. He will be missed by all. We will all miss his singing.
