Edward M. Carlin, Jr. age 81 of Edina. A pilot for the 332nd Bomb Squadron during WW II, survived 35 missions over Germany. Recipient of the Air Medal with 5 Oak Leaf clusters. Self employed real estate investor. Preceded in death by wife, Eunice. Survived by 7 children, Greg (Patty), Cindy (Mac) Daoud, Bob (LeeAnn), Deb (John) Skinner, Marion (Larry) Wenaas, Ed (Nancy) and Martha Laier; 24 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Joanne Raskin and Terese Reeder. Mass of Christian Burial TODAY, 10 am, at the church of Our Lady of Grace, 5051 Eden Ave, Edina. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. GILL BROTHERS 612-861-6088
