Edna Johanna (Anderson) McCarty

McCarty Edna Johanna (nee Anderson), age 90, of Nisswa, formerly of Roseville and St. Anthony passed away peacefully on January 9, 2003 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Brainerd. Born and raised in Mpls. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; sister, Ruth Henderson; and son-in-law, Marlin Ostrander. She is survived by her sister, Helen Lyons of St. Paul; children, Edward (Judith) McCarty of Chisago City, Patricia Ostrander of Brainerd and Kathleen (Gary) Jensen of Nisswa; 6 grandchildren, Michael (Catherine) McCarty of Denver, CO, Kerry McCarty of Mounds View, Marileah McCarty of Chisago City, Trisha (Mark) Luedke of Denver, CO, Shon (Yolanda) Jensen of Nisswa, and Laura (Troy) Israelson also of Nisswa; 2 great-grandsons, Jeremy McCarty and Taylor Jensen. Funeral service 11:15 AM Monday, January 13, 2003 at The Roseville Memorial Chapel (2245 N. Hamline Ave., Rsvl.) 651-631-2727. Visitation 3-7 PM Sunday and also one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Interment Hillside Memorial Park.
