Zabel, Bruce Edward "aka Brewster... aka Zebow" 2/17/58 - 8/8/17 Age 59. Preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Myrle Zabel. Survived by his loving wife, Kathy Ann Zabel (Martinson); as well as his siblings: Steve, Linda, Skip & Bobbie, their spouses and families; his beautiful daughter Jennifer Cowan; grandson Tenzen & granddaughter Thiri; and his Step-Clan ... Bruno, Kelly, Miranda and Heidi; their spouses as well as 14 step grandchildren; and 8 1/2 great step grandchildren. Bruce was born in Denver Colorado, grew up with his family in Excelsior, MN before moving to Oklahoma. He loved playing hockey and football. He graduated and attended OU. Leaving college to join the Navy, Bruce dedicated 6 years as a NAVY SEAL a member of SEAL Team 4. Upon leaving the service Bruce continued working with his hands and enjoyed a career in construction. Bruce had great love and respect for God, Family, his Country AND music & blues, often playing his harp. He was a warrior in every sense and put his all into everything he did, held true to his passing day. God decided this beautiful protective soul is now a guardian of many.
