Hazel Pauline Merical

Merical Hazel Pauline, of Twin Lake, Mercer, Missouri, died of cancer Mon., Jan. 28, 2002 at the age of 86 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Mpls, MN. Hazel, the daughter of William & Eva Zimmerman, was born Feb. 25, 1915 in Gruver, IA. Hazel married Benjamin (Benny) Merical in Oct. 1938 in Bethany, MO. Her husband, Benny; parents, 2 brothers, Lawrence and Bill, and 2 sisters, Margaret and Jean, preceded her in death. Survivors include daughters, Shirley Keltner, Atascadero, CA, Sally Reighard & husband Joe, Mercer, MO; sons, Benjamin Merical & wife Carol, Mercer, MO, Burton Merical, Houston, TX; six sisters, two brothers, several grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Visitation 6-8 pm Thurs., Jan. 31 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St., Des Moines. Funeral service Fri., Feb. 1, 11 am at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St., Des Moines, IA.
