David W. Weaver

Weaver David W. age 84 of Mpls. Preceded in death by parents Arthur & Edna, Mpls. and dearly beloved wife Phyllis L. of Mpls. David was a Veteran of WWII, Staff Sergeant 6th Ranger Battalion, Special Forces. He was a gifted athlete; played hockey for the Univ. of MN, was an accomplished bowler, baseball and tennis player. Much beloved father of Larry, Mpls., Warren (Joan), Eagan; Grandfather of Darren, William & Joey, Eagan; Sister Marian Melton, Fridley; sister-in-law Marilyn (George) Oberle, San Jose; brother-in-law, Seymour Gros, NY. Also survived by nieces, nephews and good friends. David's personal integrity and contributions to life will be remembered and valued by all whose lives he touched. Memorial service to be held Saturday, February 9th, 1:30 pm at Judson Baptist Church, 4101 Harriet Ave. S. Reception immediately following.
