Torkelson Morris John, age 88, of Brooklyn Park. Lifetime member of Palmer Lake VFW #3915. Survived by his loving wife, Beverly; children, Phillip, Marlea (John) Schiefelbein and Steven (Sue) Karris. Also survived by grandchildren, Steven, Sean and Nicole Karris; brother, Hjalmer (Leona) Torkelson; and many nieces, nephews & friends. Service Sat., 10:30 am, visitation one hour prior at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center. Interment Sat. 3:45 PM Kedron Cemetery in Pequot Lakes, MN.
