Brecht Lydia A., of Edina, 83, died January 20. Preceded by her husband, Lyle; and daughter, Linda Brecht. Survived by son, Lyle (Laura) Brecht; daughters, Linell Santella and Lisa (John) Wagner; 7 grandchildren; and 7 brothers & sisters. Graduate of Eitel Hospital School of Nursing, 1st Lieutenant with 26th Army Medical Corps WWII, member Mpls. & Edina Women's Clubs. Gathering of friends 9:30 AM, Memorial service at 10:30 AM Fri., Jan. 25 at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Rd., Apple Valley. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery following the service. Memorials toward a charity are preferred.
