Gary Allen Skonseng

Skonseng Gary Allen, age 53, Wahpeton, ND, died Wed., Jan. 16, 2002 in the V.A. Hospital in Fargo. He was born Aug. 28, 1948 in Fargo, ND, the son of Melvin & Mertice (Huseby). He grew up and graduated from school in Mpls, MN. Gary entered the military in 1969, serving in Vietnam for one year. He moved to Enderlin, ND with his family after the military. Gary lived and worked in Enderlin for several years until he moved to Wahpeton and attended college at North Dakota State School of Science, earning his education in Certified Parts Merchandising. He worked for Sturdevants for several years and also managed an apartment complex. Gary's loves in life were his family, friends, cars and fishing. Gary is survived by his son, Jason (Brandy) of Coon Rapids, MN and his daughter, Tracy of St. Cloud, MN; grandson, Tyler; two half sisters, Patricia (James) Dooley and Peggy (James) Super II, both of Mpls; his stepmother, Sue Skonseng, Mpls, and one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Steve. Funeral service Friday, Jan. 25, 1 PM at Boulger Funeral Home Chapel, Fargo, ND. Visitation 4-8 PM Thursday, Jan. 24 in Boulger Funeral Home, and one hour prior to funeral service. Graveside service 3:30 PM in St. Petri Cemetery in Nome, ND.
