Lisy Clayton J., age 84 of Minnetonka, died January 20, 2002 of cancer. U of M graduate, WW II Counter Intelligence Agent. For 25 years, Clayton held various advertising positions in companies and agencies including Advertising Manager, Account Executive, Account Supervisor and Vice President. For 15 years, he taught courses in advertising, marketing, marketing research and promotion in the Minnesota State College System. An Eagle Scout as a boy, Clayton continued activity in the Boy Scouts and Indian Guides as a volunteer. An avid dog lover, he was a volunteer at Animal Humane Society for many years. Clayton enjoyed involvement with his family, with their sports and school activities, holiday gatherings, and vacations. Clayton was known for his wonderful sense of humor and great integrity. He is survived by his wife, Mardell of 59 years; son, Scott & wife Christine; sister, Lois Franks & husband Edward; son-in-law, Russel Fritchman; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter. Preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Barbara Fritchman (Lisy). Memorial service 11 am Saturday Jan 26, 2002 at Valley of Peace Lutheran Church, 4735 Bassett Creek Dr, Golden Valley. Private interment. Visitation one hour before services Saturday at the church.
