Kenneth Felsted

Kenneth Felsted, age 89, of Mpls., passed away Jan. 17, 2002. Survived by wife, Adyline; daughter, Victoria (Jeffrey) Daley; granddaughters, Megan & Nicholle of Prior Lake; daughter, Kathleen (Rev. Paul) Matson; grandson, Michael of Brooklyn, NY; grandson, Noah (Pamela) Matson; great-granddaughter, Sarina of Washington, D.C.; daughter, Diedre Lingenfelter and her 3 sons, Michael, John, Bruce & daughter, Cindy; 19 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren, all of Moreno Valley, CA, and their families. Ken was a graduate of the U of M in business administration and enjoyed a long career with Warden Oil Co. and Thompson Lumber Co. Ken was an accomplished baritone whose performances included concerts, opera and oratorio. He also served as soloist at the Cathedral Church of St. Mark, Mpls., Second and Seventh Churches of Christ, Scientist, Mpls. and Temple Mt. Zion in St. Paul. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Choir Fund at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Mt. Olivet Day Services, Mpls., Vern Sutton Opera Workshop, U of M or donor's choice. Funeral service Tues. 2 PM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Nicollet Mall & 12th St., Mpls.; Interment Lakeside Cemetery, Hastings.
