Deneen Muriel (nee Leonard), joined her heavenly family on Jan. 16, 2002. Born May 16, 1921 in Witchita, KS. Preceded in death by beloved husband, Robert; parents, Peg & Brownie Leonard; brothers, John (Buddy), Thomas, Robert; sister-in-law, Betty Leonard; brother-in-law, Donald Deneen. Survived by children, Barbara, Peter (Mary), John (Patty); grandchildren, Niles (Marina), Owen, Alison; brothers, Charles (Josie), Rodney, Alan (Cista); in-laws, Dorothy Deneen, Irvin and Marylyn Deneen; many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cherished friends. 1939 grad Eureka (KS) HS, attended St. Cloud State Teachers College. Married Robert in 1944. Started the Rock & Stone Shop in St. Paul, showcasing her work at the MN State Fair for over 25 yrs. & MN Renaissance Festival & other national venues for 20 more. Muriel held leadership roles in American Luth. Church Women, past president St. Paul Council of Camp Fire Girls, active for 50 yrs. She treasured friendships at Sholom Home East DayCare & loving care by Anna & staff of Como Park Living at Home Block Nurse Program, St. Anthony Park Home & Dr. David Klevan.
